Visitors will find an excellent weekly market and regular race meetings at Fakenham (1½ miles) and nearby Pensthorpe Park is the setting for BBC's Springwatch. Quiet country lanes are great for relaxed walking and cycling and the coast's salt marshes and long stretches of unspoilt beach are well known to bird watching enthusiasts. Seal watching boat trips the Queen's estate at Sandringham Blakeney and Brancaster harbours and seaside attractions at Cromer and Hunstanton are all easily accessible.
