Famous for its ancient castle gourmet restaurants antique shops and National Hunt races Ludlow holds an annual food festival. Ironbridge Gorge Museum Shrewsbury and Hereford all under an hour's drive. Good walking country. Shops 3½ miles pubs nearby.
