To the west the fishing harbours and interesting little shops of picturesque Looe and Polperro are a must to visit. Canoeing horse riding sea fishing and excellent walking on the coastal path are all found nearby as is Mount Edgcumbe Country Park whilst for the young at heart go karting is available near Liskeard (15 minutes' drive).
