Guided bird watching cruises are available river cruises run all year and Jurassic Coast cruises in summer. Some of Devon's famed resorts – Budleigh Salterton Seaton and Sidmouth as well as the 'English Riviera' resorts of Torquay Paignton and Brixham – and Dartmoor National Park's rugged beauty are a little futher afield. Shops and a pub serving food are within a 5 minute stroll.
