Tucked away deep in the heart of Cropton Forest a nature lovers' paradise in the North Yorkshire Moors National Park this architect designed lodge boasts a superb location for short breaks and family holidays at any time of year. One of a select number of similar properties it offers great walking from the doorstep mountain bike hire is available and there are ranger led activities for visitors to enjoy. A shop and coffee lounge are found on site and there is a regular bus service to the thriving market town of Pickering (7 miles) with its good choice shops pubs restaurants and gloriously scenic steam train trips to the historic port of Whitby. Wonderful day's out are easily accessible too - Scarborough's sandy beaches are 25 miles and the city of York's magnificent Minster and museums are 35 miles.
